Bon Sushi 2 in Vancouver Island

Sushi was good. I only had the tuna and salmon sashimi but will try others next time. Price was reasonable as well.

Great place to come for dinner or lunch. Good staff and service. I recommend the kimchi fried rice.

My family’s afternoon was completely ruined today by the horrible service and food we received here. Staff were very rude to us. The items we asked for were not what we received and staff refused to refund us. When the bill came, there were items we were charged for that we never received. I was shocked by the overall experience. The girl who served us was extremely unprofessional. First and last time we come here.

Good sushi but they never answer within the last hour of business so they can close and go home early. It's very frustrating.

Good sushi for a good price, been going here for several years and find food is consistent. The Disney-esque soundtrack they place on the sound system is however an odd contrast. It's obviously not always the same type of music but if I'm going to listen to some jungle book, necessities of life...I better be getting the full DVD experience. Otherwise I'm just the buffoon at the table singing (horribly) the lyrics while people stare at me awkwardly.All that aside, 7 / 10, pumba approved!

Service was horrible. They got our order wrong, and the food we did receive was not good. We asked for a refund - after spending $42 - because we were deeply unsatisfied with the whole experience and staff refused to refund us. Staff were very rude and dismissive. We will definitely not be returning after this experience. Worst sushi restaurant we’ve ever visited.

One of our favorite Japanese Restaurants on Victoria. Food is always fresh and tasty. The Hot Nights Roll and the Salmon Tempura roll with crab and avacado are my favorites! They have great tasting Bento Box meals as well.

Love the lunch special combo, great quick meal, healthy and less expensive.

Wound up not ordering after finding out that the seafood on the menu was misrepresented as real when it is actually imitation. People deserve to know what they are eating and flavoured mystery fish should not be represented on the menu as the real thing. This actually violates food labelling laws.

They are awesome!!! Service is a little slow sometimes. But the food is reasonably priced and always delicious. We order from here often.

My family had gone to Bon Sushi 2 at Royal Oak for years. Last night, we ordered only California rolls, for my husband and 2 sons. They all became ill afterwards, yet I did not(as I didn’t have any). So I called just to let them know, not looking for any freebies, but thought it was pertinent they know. The owner then came on the phone and proceeded to argue with me thst it couldn’t be the sushi! I became quite annoyed, as I literally was just letting them know. I’m extremely disappointed in how the owner handled the situation, because her staff and restaurant in general has been a go to for us for years. I’m out.

A simple lunch of delicious choices at a reasonable price.

Everytime I try and make an order after 8.. probably around 8:15 they never answer the phone then they take their phone off the hook. If you wanna close early change your hours so people don't waste their time driving down there for nothing.

Little hidden gem. Tiny little out of the way sushi place, definitely worth it. Service was quick and friendly and food was really good. We'll definitely be back.

The best sushi place that I have eaten at in Victoria. Have done both eat-in and take-out. Great prices and items; staff are average.

Good, Korean inflected sushi. Nothing to write home about, but nothing to complain about.

This was a very disappointing meal for me. My wife had the chicken Don which she said was OK. I had the seafood udon which had virtually no seafood in it. There was no shrimp, calamari, or fish like you find in most seafood udons/ noodle soup. There were a single piece of crab with 4 tiny legs a small claw and it bit of body. There was almost no crab meat to be had. The server did not come to the table during the meal to ask us how the meal was, and when we took the cheque up to the server she did not ask us how the meal was. We live only a couple of blocks away and enjoy Japanese food but we will not be back to this restaurant.

Sushi from Bon Sushi is a take-out staple in our house. Always always always their sushi is fresh and delicious. Todays order was california rolls for the kids, spicy tuna fried rolls and baked salmon rolls for the parents. Ingredients are always top shelf. I'll eat the avocado pieces my youngest makes me pick out of his cali roll. It green, perfectly ripe, tastes great. Not brown or too hard. Baked salmon rolls are amazing - on the right in the photo (sorry its a little blurry). Salmon is baked perfectly. Cream cheese and asparagus add tang and crunch. First time trying the spicy tuna fried roll - on the left in photo. Loved it! Very hearty. Every piece made you feel like you were eating something of substance. Would order again in a heartbeat. 10/10. Highly recommend Bon Sushi in Royal Oak. We have never been disappointed in approx 25 times ordering from them. Excellent.

Meh. Maybe would be better if could dine in. Or if they had dine in and were busier because didnt taste very fresh at all. Covid is over get with the program.

The food was fantastic. Sushi tastes fresh and they have a large menu with a variety of different options. Individual items are priced fairly (not cheap but not expensive). Portions are a good size. My only issue is the service. The restaurant was empty and we were pretty much ignored. Had to wait over 10 minutes from when we were seated in order to order some water. The service was friendly and food arrived quickly, just wait staff was not motivated to take our order, check that things were alright, or bring us the bill. Overall a good meal. Would recommend but with expectations of waiting a while for service.

Hands down, best sushi I ever ate. I love sushi. This place stayed open late simply because I called in a sushi order even though they decided to close early. At first I was slightly disappointed the wild sockeye salmon they list on their menu wasn't available and I had to have regular salmon sashimi, but it was worth every bite and the amount of sushi compared to the price I paid will guarantee my return. I have seen pretty sushi that ended up being a disappointment in flavour but this place not only looked fantastic, it had flavour and freshness to it - at 8:30 pm as they were closing! I have never been so impressed with a hidden gem of a sushi restaurant.

This place was amazing. The agadashi tofu a d the chicken donburi was delicious.
